MAP 

She had always walked  
that ancient road,  
even before her feet learned  
the direction it would follow,  
before her fingers traced  
the rough ridges of its course.  

She had flown there in dream  
and mapped each radial line  
that burst like fire from the center, 
offering some new possibility,  
some route that spoke the unwritten lesson  
she had awoken to learn.
