Kelli Russell Agodon
BRUSCHETTA
Red,
Like the tulip
I placed on the table.
Evenings of garlic and blue basil
Tomatoes diced,
Small Tuscan villages
Across the cutting board
Olive oil rivers and white onion rafts.
We drank wine darker than night.
