Walls Become Doors

This common pin has fallen
onto the ground showing
the tattletale effects of gravity’s well.

The earth begins to swell
from the heat that shows
this common pin has fallen

into the hands of the twelve
who followed
the tattletale effects of gravity’s well.

This is the ending of all
that we used to know.
This common pin has fallen

and we cannot wear it again until
we can find out how
the tattletale effects of gravity’s well

can be altered and walls
become doors and we can slow
the tattletale effects of gravity. Well,
this common pin has fallen.
