Wish You Were Here
REAR VIEW MIRROR

I thought the desert was boundless until
I took a journey inside
your ego.

Like sand, the horizon constantly shifted—
the farther I walked towards it, the more
it receded. Cloudless territory.

Seduced by the Technicolor sunsets,
I stayed too long—
became a red boulder
contorted by your hot winds.
